How we review

We write the criteria before we open the products. That order matters, because criteria written afterwards are just a justification for a verdict you already reached.

The criteria

Every product in a guide is measured against the same list. We publish the list so you can disagree with it.

  1. What it actually costs over three years. Not the headline price. A subscription and a one time purchase are not comparable until you pick a time window, so we always pick one and state it.
  2. Whether the price is published at all. A company that hides its price until you have created an account has made an informed comparison impossible. We weight that against them and we say so.
  3. What the product does that the others do not. The single functional difference that actually decides the purchase, stated plainly.
  4. Who it is wrong for. Every product is wrong for someone. If we cannot name that person, we have not understood the product.
  5. The refund window and how hard it is to use.
  6. How long the seller has been trading. Not proof of quality, but a product with a refund guarantee that has survived a decade has been tested by more customers than a launch.
  7. What we could not verify. Listed openly, with what we tried.

How we handle claims

Sellers make claims about themselves. Some are checkable and some are not. We separate them:

We do not use a seller's own marketing figures as evidence for the seller. When a company's affiliate materials quote earnings or conversion numbers that its own platform data does not support, we go with the platform data, and where it is relevant to you we show both.

What we do not do

What would make us change a verdict

A verdict here is a snapshot with a date on it. We will change it if any of these happen, and we will date the change rather than quietly editing:

Tell us when we are wrong

If something on this site is out of date or incorrect, write to hello@evolureselect.com. Corrections get made and dated. That is the whole policy.
